Cotton Candy & Sno Cones !

Dr Linda has served as a member of the Women’s Board of Montgomery General Hospital.  The Board is a volunteer service organization the has been a part of the Olney community since 1920.

The members of the Women’s Board raise money for the Hospital through a variety of activities, including the Hospital Gift Shop, the Annual Gifts of Light, the Thrift Shop and the Annual Picnic Bazaar.

For a number of years, Dr. Linda (and assorted family members and friend volunteers) worked the Cotton candy and Sno Cone tent at the Annual picnic and Bazaar, which is traditionally takes place on the 4th Tuesday each July.

The Women’s Board has raised millions of dollars for the Hospital over the years, which has aided the hospital in providing critical medical services to the community.  If you have never attended the Picnic and Bazaar, make it a point to check it out each year and try some of the famous fried chicken and corn on the cob in addition to the crafts, books and live entertainment.
